Our annual conference serves as the flagship event, bringing together key experts to discuss latest developments and provide a unique opportunity for networking.
Hosted in Oxford in 2026, the Conference takes place in the University's brand new state-of-the-art Life and Mind Building.

The 2025 UK Clinical Vaccine Network Conference in Sheffield was a highly engaging and impactful event. It brought together experts from across the UK to share insights, showcase innovation, and discuss practical approaches to vaccine research and delivery. The quality of the programme, combined with the collaborative and inclusive atmosphere, made it an excellent opportunity for learning and networking.

UKCVN 2026 will be held as a two-day physical meeting, with virtual participation. The Organising Committee strongly encourage attending the physical meeting if at all possible.
The in-person registration fee includes:
- all lectures and panel discussions
- ECR Poster showcase
- all refreshment breaks and lunches
- 2 x Sponsor Symposia
The registration fee does not include accommodation and travel or the conference dinner.
All fees quoted are for HCPs working in medicine / research. Those from industry wishing to register should contact ukcvn@paediatrics.ox.ac.uk.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations should be made by emailing ukcvn@paediatrics.ox.ac.uk and are subject to the terms and conditions outlined at the time of booking. A refund will be given for cancellations up until one month before the meeting, less a 10% administration charge. No refund can be given for cancellations made within one month of the meeting, nor are there refunds for no-shows.
Travel and Carer's Bursaries
There are a limited number of bursaries available for help towards travel or childcare for in-person attendance at the UKCVN Conference.
The bursary can cover:
- Nursery fees
- Childcare fees
- Carer's costs
- Standard class train & bus fares
The bursary does not cover:
- international flights
- Mileage
- Parking
How to apply for a bursary
Please read this information carefully. If you fail to complete the process within the required timeframe, your application will not be accepted
- Complete the online application form - UKCVN Travel/Childcare Bursary Application – Fill in form
- Be sure to complete the process right to the end: you'll receive an automated email upon successful completion.
- You'll receive an email from ukcvn@paediatrics.ox.ac.uk to confirm your application is received and correct.
- The application form must be completed by midday on 31st July 2026 at the latest. There are no exceptions to this deadline.
- You will be notified of the outcome of your application in the 1st week of August 2026.
- You will also be sent information on how to claim your bursary in your outcome notification.
Abstracts
If you are joining us in-person in Oxford, you are warmly invited to share your work at the conference’s oral and poster presentation sessions by submitting an abstract for consideration.

The abstract submission deadline is 12:00 BST on 26 June 2026
Abstract Topics:
Abstract submissions are invited for oral presentations and poster display with a link to vaccine-related research or patient case presentations.
Posters
If selected for a poster presentation you will be required to display a physical poster. Physical posters will be on display in the exhibition hall for the duration of the conference.
Terms & Conditions of submission are:
- If the abstract is accepted, a presenting author must register to attend the conference.
- The submitter should ideally be the presenting author. If this is not possible the replacement presenter must be a named author on the original submission.
- Last date for abstract submission is: Friday 26th June 2026 at 12pm BST
- Authors and presenters are expected to adhere to best practice in presenting their work, ensuring that presentations are free from commercial bias and based on evidence accepted by our peers.
- All authors of abstracts are expected to declare any potential conflict of interest relevant to the presentation being given at the time of submission.
- The submitter is responsible for obtaining consent to publish the names of authors/co-authors and consent from any patients (if case reports).
- The presenting author (as indicated on the submission) will be notified of the decision of the reviewers by Friday 31st July 2026.
